Learning & Executive Function Support in Peachtree City, GA
When a bright kid struggles to focus, organize, remember instructions, or finish what they start, the problem is rarely effort. It is often how the brain is managing executive function, the mental skills behind planning, attention, and self-control.
At The Brainery in Peachtree City, we offer drug-free, brain-based support for learning and executive function challenges. We assess how the nervous system is working, then build a plan to strengthen the skills that make learning easier. We do not diagnose learning disabilities or replace educational and medical services.
What executive function support looks like
Executive function is the brain's management system: starting tasks, holding information, shifting attention, and regulating impulses.
When these are underdeveloped, school and daily routines feel like an uphill climb. A functional approach works to strengthen the brain-body foundations these skills are built on.
Our approach
We assess, personalize, and track progress with clear milestones. Every plan fits the child's age, needs, and family life, and we partner with parents, teachers, and providers.
The Brainery offers drug-free, brain-based support that complements your medical care. We do not diagnose conditions or prescribe or adjust medication, and results vary from person to person. Diagnosis and medication stay with your physician
Functional lab testing
Focus and learning challenges are rarely just about effort. For many kids, brain chemistry and gut health play a real role, and functional lab testing helps us see what is happening underneath. When it makes sense, we use it to guide a more targeted, drug-free plan.
Neurotransmitter testing: Neurotransmitters are the chemical messengers behind attention, mood, and impulse control. Mapping them can reveal imbalances that make focus and self-regulation harder, and point us toward drug-free ways to support them.
The gut-brain connection: The gut helps produce and regulate many of the same neurotransmitters involved in focus and mood, so gut health and learning are closely linked. Microbiome testing can surface imbalances that may be contributing, which we then address through targeted, whole-person support.
We turn results into a clear, personalized plan, often alongside nutrition guidance, and we always coordinate with your child's providers.
Meet Dr. Samantha Brooks
As a pediatric-certified practice, we build learning support around each child, not a script.
The Brainery was founded by Dr. Samantha Brooks, a holistic chiropractor in Peachtree City who blends functional neurology (advanced training through Focus Academy), prenatal and pediatric certification (CACCP, through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association), and functional nutrition training (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) into whole-person care.

-
Often, yes. For many kids, focus and self-regulation are shaped by brain chemistry and gut health. Neurotransmitter and gut microbiome testing can reveal imbalances a standard visit misses, so we can build a more targeted, drug-free plan. It complements, and does not replace, your child's medical and educational support.
